Kelly Bushue-Shapley

Kelly has been with Johnson Law Group since 2000, and she has seen the practice grow over the last 25+ years to one of the largest criminal defense law firms in central Illinois. What has not changed is Kelly’s continued commitment to our law firm and each of our clients. Kelly began as a Legal Assistant and has been promoted over the years to Office Manager and now serves as our Law Firm Administrator. She also continues to serve as a Senior Legal Assistant, overseeing our staff and attorneys. Kelly balances her time well, ensuring that our clients' needs are met and that our law firm is operating at peak efficiency.

Kelly's duties are essential to allow our attorneys to focus on substantive legal matters, which ensures that our law firm clients are able to obtain the best possible results in their legal matters. Kelly is a graduate of Illinois State University and was born and raised in Central Illinois. Kelly is a big supporter and advocate of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), which is the leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
