Good people often find themselves in bad situations, and all of us make mistakes. Too often these situations and mistakes can lead to you being charged with a crime, to your facing jail or - even worse - prison, and to you having to fight for your life.
That's where I come in. My name is Brendan Bukalski, and I am the Managing Partner of Johnson Law Group. I am proud to be the Managing Partner of a firm like ours. As a former prosecutor, I was able to handle all kinds of cases, but being able to help people is far more personally rewarding. I believe my partners and I are a part of a leading law firm that sets itself apart from other lawyers and law firms. We fight for people all over Illinois. My primary focus is on criminal, but, unlike so many other attorneys, I also keep our focus on the long-term consequences of a criminal case. As a result, I represent people trying to get their driver's license back, trying to clean up their records through expungement, sealing, or pardons, and those trying to restore their constitutional rights. Focusing on these issues makes us better at what we do because we think in the long term, instead of what might just be convenient now. Whenever I represent anyone, my concern is for you, your family, and on getting your life back to normal again.
I have practiced in these areas of law more than a decade, and my firm collectively has more than 100 years of experience. I begin work on every case with the premise that we must beat a case, that we must succeed, and that we cannot accept anything less. Because of this, I believe the results I get our clients are like no one else, and those results speak for themselves.
In addition to my work experience, I am a member of several organizations and associations, have lectured to countless people on issues related to their rights, their driving privileges, and even taught other lawyers about different areas of the law. I write a weekly column called, Ask the Lawyer, in which I answer questions to help the public better understand the law, I write regularly for our blog, have been published by the Illinois State Bar Association, and have written a book about driver's license reinstatement in the State of Illinois. I was recognized as among the Top 100 of Trial Lawyers, among the Top 40 under 40, and as being a Leading Lawyer, in addition to being awarded the 10 Best in Client Satisfaction.
